Hey! Whaddup Peeps?
Monday was a pretty big day. Ask Cmdr. McCroc. He'll tell you. It was his birthday. If you ask him, it's McCroc-apalooza, and it's all about him. On Sunday night, a few of us got together and went out to celebrate him. Me & the HB, Panda & Teddi from the Block, Moe & Winnie, and John & Tina. John & Tina are new, so I haven't been able to "nick" them yet. They seem nice, but they probably need to pick a better class of friends to hang out with.
Moe & Winnie have been wondering why they haven't been “nicked” yet. How do ya nick someone who has already been nicked? Moe & Winne are already their nicknames.
Should I nick them twice? I'll leave that to you to decide.

Anyway, it is customary to laud the birthday boy with praise and lay gifts at his feet. Which I feel is appropriate, because I know exactly what he wanted: a pair of officially sanctioned NFL Minnesota Vikings Crocs. But I have to disappoint, the only size they had available was a men's size 6 — two sizes too large for his ballet slipper-sized tootsies. So I got him the second best thing, a hoodie that I saw Fran Tarkenton once wear at a Detroit Mudflappers game and then discard at a thrift store in South Gate.
On another note, Moe & Winnie decided that Cmdr. McCroc's head needed decoration, so they bought him a baseball cap. Have you ever seen a baseball cap that had a price tag on it that forced you to consider refinancing your real estate holdings? Yes, one of those.
Holy cow! Do you know what a baseball cap that costs more than a car note looks like? A lot like one you can buy in Lids for a lot less, but apparently it’s washable, so that's a plus. At least that’s what Teddi from the Block told me. This baseball cap matches her bucket hat, also washable. Whatever you do, don’t tell Teddi from the Block that the HB just washed and dried my bucket hat, the one I bought from Costco last week. I think it may shatter her.

Everyone knows that the HB and I really like RVing. Moe & Winnie came out once and thought they might wanna try it too. According to Moe, they liked it so much that he ran out and bought an RV. Allegedly. No one has seen this RV, and every time we invite them to go with us, the Dodgers have a game. And when the Dodgers play, Moe and Winnie have to be there. It would seem that Doc can’t make a move without them. Has anyone ever seen Moe or Winnie in the dugout? No? Me neither, but it still keeps them from showing up at campouts. Suspicious, huh?
You know what to do! Drink ‘em if you got ‘em!
