G’day Chroniclers!

There was no track yesterday, and everyone had to recover from the Nike trip and bike ride of death, so the first half of the day was spent licking our wounds.

The HB was feeling a little out of sorts, but the First Lady came through. Who knew that the First Lady was a pharmacist? She has magic holistic pills, peppermint tea, and good advice. Do you think The Good Reverend Doctor knew this? He had to, right? Hmmm, my BFF, McCroc & I have always believed that The Good Reverend Doctor was kind of a secretive guy, just like McRib was at first. My initial thought was that McRib was a serial killer. Just a sec, do you think that The Good Reverend Doctor is a serial killer? Wait. Lemme do a quick headcount. Is everyone still here who’s supposed to be? Yup, so upon initial check, neither The Good Reverend Doctor nor McRib are serial killers, according to my brief investigation?

Hold up. Did I just fall into a rabbit hole?

Oh. Right. Yesterday. Okay, so we had wings, pizza, and Jenga. It was a blast. We learned that the McRibs have a daughter who must be a witch or a ninja or something. Every time it was her turn to pull a wooden brick, she’d walk up to the stack, pull out said brick without a wiggle, and then go back to making her pizza or her seat or whatever without batting an eye. They put down good money for her to attend a little school in Westwood for four years, and she came away with cat-like prowess around the Jenga table, the uncanny ability to toss a ping pong ball into a red cup from 7 yards, and some 4-clap cheer that only a few people know? Four years? And that’s her thing? Oh, and she won’t even look at the Professor. What’s that all about?

Oh. I don’t know if you’ve ever played the game of Jenga. I hear that the record number of levels is 46. We reached 29 in the first game before the Big Bro had it tumble over onto him and 32 when Da Coach got a little cocky trying to replace his brick on top. I don’t know why people think that game is fun. The anxiety that I felt drove my BP and heart rate to atmospheric levels.

We celebrated the First Lady’s birthday. She was hoping to be carried around the campground and into the restaurant on a palanquin and was pretty disappointed when we turned her down flatly.

…anyway, short day, so

Drink ‘em if you got ‘em!
