G’morning Chroniclers!

Well, yesterday started off bright & early, 6 AM — for some of us. The McCrocs, Me-me, Papa, the HB, and I all decided to sit this one out. The McCrocs were nursing the injuries inflicted upon them by E.B. the day before. I was pretty tuckered out after having the Pharmacist & her lovely assistant perform life-saving surgery on me. Between you and me, I
think McCroc was worried about me, and he stayed back at the infirmary just to keep an eye on me. I may have to let him keep his BFF status for a little while longer.
McCroc & I were sitting in the lounge chairs yesterday afternoon. The HB stuck her head out of the RV, gave me the side eye, and beckoned me in with a curling index finger. Uh-oh, I couldn’t remember what it was I did (or didn’t do) that would get me in trouble, so I did what any red-blooded 8-year-old American boy would do: I pointed at McCroc, trying to deflect. The HB shook her head and pointed at your hero.
Dejectedly, I stood up, hung my head, and shuffled my feet as I walked slowly into the RV to accept my punishment.
Once inside, she says, “There’s something wrong with the fridge.”

My head snaps up! Uh-oh! I need to think fast. There’s a good chance that I may have to drink a warm Pepsi with my dinner, and that is UNSAT! Sure enough, the lights on the front of my refrigerator are not on. I checked the Pepsi, and it still felt like an acceptable temperature for consumption, so I relaxed a bit. The light goes on when I open the door, but the HB refuses to sit inside to let me know if it goes out when I close the door. This is gonna be one of those wait-and-see dilemmas.
E.B. did not disappoint. Yesterday’s tour of Zion was just as action-packed and picturesque as the day before. The group even saw a mountain goat and a bison. They sent back pictures, and I'll post them as soon as I can figure out where they are in my phone. Unfortunately, I was not there, so hopefully, they’ll regale me with their exploits after we settle down for the evening.
Then I’ll tell you what really happened, right?
Today is a travel day, so I must get to my chores.
One band. One sound.
Drink ‘em if you got ‘em!
