G'morning Chroniclers! Have you got your Joe brewing?

We made it! End of the week. Who's ready for the weekend? Let's go! We're in Shreveport, Louisiana and if you've been paying close attention, you know what that means, right? Yesterday was a travel day. When you're on trips like the one we are, sometimes flexibility is the key.

Our initial plan was to spend another day in Hot Springs, in the hopes of getting some good grub. But you all remember how Yoko messed that up for us, don't you? Because of her, we had nothing to look forward to but alfalfa sprouts, wheat germ and chia seeds.

Naw, truth be told, there was a water situation at the last campsite. There was a boil water precaution in effect and the Professor & Yoko were getting low on fresh water. Dr. Francois & Samantha Stevens were critically low. Apparently Stephanie and Samantha are used to luxuriating when they take showers. Personally, we were in Hot Springs. I don't see why they didn't go down to Bath House Row and slip into one of the many bath houses and treat it like a spa day.

Anyway, Dr. Francois lobbied real hard for a zero-eight-hundred departure yesterday morning. There were snickers from the crew. You have to know Doc. He's been late his whole life. He wasn't able to get potty trained until he was seventeen, because he was always late. As quiet as it's kept, there was a pool going among the crew on how late he would be yesterday. Stephanie won, she got the closest with 8:20. The big loser was Samantha Stevens, she didn't think the doctor would be good-to-go until 9:15.

Doc surprised us all when he rang the bell and threw up his hands at 7:58. "The Francois' are ready!!"

Whoa! Nice job, Doc.

Cmdr. McCroc and the missus have not quite caught up with us yet. They're still a couple of hundred miles behind us, but we expect to see them this afternoon. Rumor has it that Red Bay has a Croc outlet and they weren't able to leave first thing yesterday as previously planned, because of a One Day Sale. I'm told that the commander had his eye on a new unicorn shoe. He's always got his feelers out for that special rubber clog. This will make his 3rd — no, 4th unicorn Croc. Mrs. McCroc tells me he's trying to get one in every color.

Last night, I ate, Heart Healthy again, and watched the 9ers play some high school team on Thursday Night Football.

The Professor has yet to make the southern right of passage, Waffle House. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Drink ‘em if you got ‘em!

One band, one sound.
